THE TRADE FAIR IN BRNO - Czech engineers enter the era of new technologies

On Thursday, September 20, 2018, in Thermal Technologies Research Center of HEDVIGA company in Hnojník was a presentation of the PTR solution for representatives of the E.ON energy company, focusing on the use of alternative sources for power and heat generation.

Czech company Hedviga Group from its originaly small research project on fuel enrichment has created a new direction and focus on the development, manufacture and installation of technology for slow, non-oxidative thermal decomposition of organic matter as well as fuel and energy production.

HEDVIGA presented its PTR – ENERKAL technology solution for sewage sludge utilization.

Companies HEDVIGA GROUP, a.s. and Eco-Select Environmental Technology Ltd. have concluded a strategic partnership in the project of PTR FOR CHINA.

Company HEDVIGA GROUP, a.s. has concluded a contract with company Alternative Energy Systems a.s. from group FILÁK a.s. to produce PTR 1000 kW6 for the Czech market.

Here our company introduced the ENERKAL technology solution – for the material and energy utilization of sewage sludge.

On 4th December 2017 in Ostrava, HEDVIGA GROUP, a.s. was awarded for the contribution to the development of the Moravian-Silesian Region for 2017 in the category of small and medium-sized enterprises by the Association for the Development of the Moravian-Silesian Region and the Regional Economic Chamber of the Moravian-Silesian Region.

The second place in the competition Company of the Year went to the company HEDVIGA GROUP, which transforms waste into electrical energy by means of patented thermal decomposition technology.

The mission of The Minister of Industry and Trade Jiri Havlicek at the international energy exhibition EXPO 2017 in Astana culminated and lead into the establishment of the Czech-Kazakh Business Forum. 130 guests participated.

President Miloš Zeman opened a Czech pavilion at the international exhibition Expo 2017 in Kazakhstan Astana on the 10th June 2017, the exhibition will run until 10th September 2017. Visitors are presented some Czech inventions which are connected with the main motto of the Expo – the energy of the future, including the 3D model of PTR Power Plant.

In Kazakh Astana, international exhibition EXPO will be launched on Friday. Among the dozens of countries participating in it is also the Czech Republic. The Czech delegation headed by President Milos Zeman also arrived to join the opening ceremony.

On Thursday 23rd Feb 2017 a presentation of the technological plant PTR 1000 was held in London – Rainham (UK), for rubber processing, production of fuels, electricity and heat, which Hedviga Group built last year in the London low emission zone – The Low Emission Zone.

In December 2016, the company HEDVIGA GROUP, a.s. was granted a European patent for a technology solution of slow thermal decomposition, as a method for producing fuels for energetics.

The company HEDVIGA GROUP, a.s. opened negotiations for granting a licence for operating the PTR technology and production of PTR fuels in Chile with company SOUTHLINK, Ltd.

On Tuesday, 13th December 2016 was held in Prague a ceremonial meeting of company representatives and projects nominated for an award of the Czech technology platform Smart Grid Award, associated with a meeting with journalists.

The first of the series of the load tests on module 6 of the PTR system with the input material of rubber granules confirmed the functionality and system settings as a whole. In the following eight weeks, there will be additional load tests on PTR modules before the complete equipment startup and its handover to the Operator.
