Exhibition EXPO 2017 will be launched in Kazakhstan with the participation of President Zeman

In Kazakh Astana, international exhibition EXPO will be launched on Friday. Among the dozens of countries participating in it is also the Czech Republic. The Czech delegation headed by President Milos Zeman also arrived to join the opening ceremony.

The main theme of the Kazakh Expo is the energy of the future. The aim is to launch a discussion on how to ensure sufficient amount of energy for all while reducing emissions. The site was newly built on about 25 hectares.

The main theme of the Czech exposition is the reduction of emissions and energy intensity. The dominant of the Czech two-storey pavilion will be the concept of a sport aircraft with an electric engine, a model of a power plant that produces electricity by disposal of municipal waste will also be seen.

In the pavilion opened by Zeman on Saturday, Czech beer and Czech food will also be served.

On Saturday, the whole Expo will be open to the public and will be available until September 10th. Kazakhstan hopes that the event will help attract not only experts but also tourists.
